CBU welcomes students from the homeschool community to apply for admission.

Homeschooled Student in Class

Our rich Lasallian heritage encompasses personal attention. A student-faculty ratio of 11:1 and an average class size of 16 students ensure a campus community where you can safely belong and explore your future.

Homeschooled students interested in applying for admission to CBU should have an academic record that reflects a college-bound curriculum and students must meet state requirements for high school graduation. Check with your state’s Department of Education to ensure you meet credit requirements for graduation. CBU does accept CLEP and AP credit.

Students must also submit official results of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Testing Program (ACT). The College Board test code for Christian Brothers University is 1121 and the ACT code is 3952.

Merit based scholarships are available to homeschooled students. The application for admission serves as the scholarship application. No separate application is required to apply for academic scholarships.

Interested in beginning the CBU experience early? Consider CBU’s Dual Enrollment Program and join the CBU community before you graduate. Complete college level courses and get better acquainted with our community first-hand. Welcome!
