“My fondest memories involve hanging out with my roommates and Kappa Sigma fraternity brothers, developing relationships and enjoying the close-knit atmosphere of the CBU campus.”

A native of Millington, Allen Berger came to Memphis to attend CBU and graduated with a BSBA in Marketing in 2006.

After graduation, Allen went to work for RemitDATA, a startup healthcare technology company, as a WebScan Product Manager and Retention Manager. He moved to AutoZone, where he has had various positions in the Merchandising team, managing different product groups. Currently, he is the Senior Commercial Category Manager for Brake Systems. During his career at AutoZone, he has received multiple Outstanding Achievement honors, and he has also been honored with the Dale Carnegie Highest Achievement Award for demonstrating professional development, outstanding presentation skills, and interpersonal skills.

Allen and his wife Kellie are the parents of three children. Outside of his professional and family life, he volunteers regularly with the Alzheimer’s Foundation, the FedEx St. Jude Classic golf tournament, and coaches youth soccer teams.

CBU taught me the importance of perspective. There is such a diverse range of students and cultures, coupled with relatively small and engaging classes, that I was exposed to new perspectives on a regular basis. I carried this into my personal and professional life as a challenge to remain open-minded. Every interaction is an opportunity to learn and grow.
