Christian Brothers University is proud of our beautiful campus and our long history, but it’s our people we most want to honor as we celebrate our sesquicentennial. Throughout our year of celebration, we will be honoring 150 alumni and CBU community members who have served with humility and grace as true examples of our Lasallian values.

We began this celebration of 150 Years of Lasallian Education in August with 15 of those closest to our heritage — current and former members of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The Brothers of the Christian Schools — or simply Brothers, as we know them — founded our University 150 years ago and their guiding spirit and core principles have defined our mission and touched the lives of every alumnus and alumna, every faculty and staff member, and countless others in the worldwide Lasallian community over the past century and a half.

And now, we are continuing with alumni from every walk of life and every generation, those who continue the Brothers’ tradition and apply the Lasallian guiding principles to the world we live in and help to make it a better place. We’ll be releasing profiles a few at a time, so be sure to watch this space so you don’t miss a familiar face.
