Student Government

Christian Brothers University fully endorses the concept that Student Government Association (SGA) has the responsibility of expressing, interpreting, and presenting student opinion and concerns to the faculty and administration.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) exists as an extension of the Office of Student Flourishing. The mission of the SGA is as follows: “to uphold the values of CBU through advocacy, leadership and support of the student experience.”

The SGA is organized into two branches. The executive branch is the SGA Executive Council, and the legislative branch is the SGA Senate.

The duties and powers of the each branch and the officers are fully explained in the SGA Constitution and Bylaws.
